Why Does it Have to be .....

Why does it have to be this way? I just don't
      get it.
We used to have a ball, we used to have a blast.
That was before this all started, before
    I grew tired of everything going on in
     the family.

So: why does it have to be this way? I just don't
    get it
Can't we go back to the way things used to be?
    Oh God!! Help us, please! I beg of You,
Father! Please mend what now is broken,
     and take my plea and gratitude not as
    selfishness, just as a token
And please make this all go back to how
   it's supposed to be...
       but for now: Please answer
    me.
