I can't believe it's already December!

I've finished the second course in my master's program (I didn't do so hot in it, and am considering applying to a brick-and-mortar grad school; online isn't the right mode for me, I don't think). I'm taking a break from the program till the end of January, when my next class is, to decide whether or not to continue with this program or to go on to find another one.

I finally got photoshop!! Or rather, my boyfriend got it for me for my birthday. CS5. I'm slowly but steadily learning how to use it, and will definitely post what I've done so far, as well as what I continue to work on. I know my first pieces are choppy and very simple, but I like them just the same.

God is amazing. I still haven't found a job, but I have come across a few places that seem like they might be promising for me to apply to.

I know it's winter, the weather is proving such; I know it's the Christmas season, society and the radio is proving such; it just all feels surreal to me. I never quite feel like I'm actually a part of anything, even if I am. I feel like an observer, off on the sidelines, watching life pass by. Which is weird, because I'm very involved with my life.
On the plus side, I've gotten to see several friends recently, which has been fun. We went to the midnight premiere of the Harry Potter movie, The Deathly Hallows, part 1. Next summer needs to hurry and get here so I can see part 2.

I no longer sell Avon, my nana almost died a few weeks ago (she's now in rehab, working on getting her bones stronger), and I'm still unemployed, but God is good and my godfather (thank you to my family who used to be Catholic when I was a baby) is retired now and looking to move to SC as soon as I find a nice apartment for him.  I'm looking forward to that.

I'm tired at the moment, so that's all for now.

So, I finally remembered my password for this account, and decided to peruse all the pieces I've submitted on here.
Wow, I realize I've grown a lot since high school.
I just graduated this past May from college, with a degree in Psychology and Business, and my boyfriend and I are going on almost 4 years together now. My mom passed away two years ago, in a car crash, just a few months after her and my ex-stepfather finalized their divorce. My sister now lives with her grandparents, just turned 13 this year, and I, being almost 23, live with some friends of mine not but ten minutes down the road from what is now my alma mater, where I got my bachelor's degree.
My relationship with God has also strengthened, and I have learned to appreciate the fact that even though I might not know everything about God or why He does what He does, doesn't mean I'm meant to know. Who am I to question the Creator of this universe? The fact that He created me and has allowed me to get this far and blessed me with all that I have should be more than sufficient for my praise and worship.

I'll be digging through my old notebooks soon, to see if I have anything else that I forgot to post, as far as things that I've written goes.

Figured I'd give an update of my life as of late.

My boyfriend and I have been going strong for just over 2 yrs now, I will be 21 in 15 days, I am looking forward to the end of the semester, and I have been having a very fun time with it.

I was talking to one of my friends from high school, who also happens to be a DA member, and DA came up in the conversation, reminding me that I hadn't checked on here in a long time...

So... an Update:

This September will be 2 yrs since me and boyfriend started going out.... and I will be 21 this year...


This past February, my mom was in a car accident, where she died...

And I've been diagnosed by a neurologist as having seizures... I'm on medicine for it, though... and the medicine is definitely working...

and I'm finally a Junior in college! Yay!

So... I have a new job.

I no longer work at the Pig (Piggly Wiggly).. Sunday was my last day. I started my new job at the Bluffton Pharmacy yesterday (Monday).. today was my second day, and already I've picked up on quite a bit of stuff that probably is considered important to know.      I think I'm gonna like working at the Pharmacy.

Aside from that... I'm supposed to be getting my vehicle right before I leave for school. It's gonna be a '94 Buick Century with a V6 engine. White w/blue interior. No clue what kind of vehicle it is, but I've heard it's a pretty nice vehicle, and of a medium-heavy to heavy type of car. I don't care. I'm excited about getting it, I can't wait for August to get here so I can get my car and get back to school!!! I miss my NGU, I miss my friends, and I miss my boyfriend.

Anyways... just thought I'd do a mini-update...
